Leftfield develops new 180,000 sq ft Industrial & Logistics Scheme in Deeside, Cheshire

Leftfield has commenced development of a new industrial and logistics scheme in Deeside, Cheshire. The project will create a 180,000 square foot scheme, comprising three high-quality units designed to meet the growing demand for modern, sustainable warehousing and distribution space. The units will be developed to a minimum rating of BREAMM “Excellent”.

The scheme is located in a prime industrial hub and will feature state-of-the-art specifications. It is positioned to become a key asset in the region’s logistics infrastructure.

104,000 square feet of the development is already pre-let to a Grade A tenant covenant, underscoring the strength of location in this under-supplied logistics corridor, which is attracting strong market interest. Once completed, the project is set to meet the needs of a diverse range of occupiers, offering future-proofed warehousing tailored to the evolving demands of modern supply chains.

This development will add another quality asset to Leftfield’s expanding, best-in-class, industrial and logistics portfolio. Nico Fourie, CEO of Leftfield: “This project demonstrates our commitment to developing high-quality, sustainable industrial assets in key locations. The strong pre-let agreement reflects the pent-up demand for modern logistics space in the North-West.”

The development is expected to complete in Q3 2025 and currently has 2 units available for pre-let: Unit 1 (55,000 sq ft) and Unit 3 (21,000 sq ft).
